"Sometime Around Midnight"

Well I should be doing my research and finals stuff right now, but writing a blog post is so much more interesting lol.

I have a couple songs I am obsessed with at the moment:

Love me some Beastie Boys... always have been a fan. This song is great, and I am slowly trying to learn the lyrics so I can be a pretend rap star :)


So I know this has been out for a while but I really love the lyrics and I feel her pain in her voice. "The scars of your love remind me of us, They keep me thinking that we almost had it all, The scars of your love, they leave me breathless, I can't help feeling." Love. And let me just say Adele's voice is amazing.


Ok so words can't describe how much I love this song by The Decemberists. I have been tweeting and facebooking it for weeks because I'm pretty obsessed. When I first heard it I automatically thought REM and Neil Young, and people on you tube thought the same I guess. My last music post was about their new song "This is Why We Fight" and I can't believe how much I'm loving their new songs. Love their new work!

Don't know why I keep listening to this lately, it came out forever ago. I just love this line so much, "Saw Cinderella in a party dress, she was looking for a nightgown.
