Where do I start?
First topic of discussion: Graduation
I finally graduated! After being in school for what seems like forever, I finally got my degree. I was happy that my nana and papa could be there to see me graduate, I'm so glad I could have my parents AND grandparents. It felt great to be done, but at the same time it was really sad. I know that I have so many great memories of all the crazy shit we did in school, and I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life. Graduation night was probably the hardest I've partied in quite some time... the night was AMAZING! Can't believe we did it :)
Next order of business: New Apartment
We finally found an apartment, and I love it. Moving in sucked the big one because I had to move, start a new job, and graduate all at the same time... kill me! So glad it got done. I Love the size of it anddd it has a pool! I have already become obsessed with the pool (too bad I'm working all day). There is tanning, and a beach volleyball court so I can't wait to have everyone over!
My BIG News: Now working as an intern for an advertising agency!
So I am currently working at RSP Marketing, in downtown mpls, as a social media marketing intern. I LOVE IT! It's definitely not your typical internship of getting coffee. I have 5 clients and I run all of their social media databases. I can't believe how much I have learned, and I LOVE the people I work with! RSP is such a fun company, and now I can finally say that I am definitely a social media pro :). One thing I will say to people who think advertising is easy: It's not! Being creative everyday for 5 totally different clients is NOT easy, and another thing is I am slowly finding out that my grammar sucks btw. The interns I work with are amazing, and I can't wait to do more fun events with them. Best part of my day: This is the view I look at everyday..
pretty nice view of NE, huh? ;)
Recent update: I'm 22!
So my bday was a couple days ago! The day before I enjoyed an awesome twins game with my dad, and then went to go get the new white iphone (and I'm obsessed with it). It was an awesome day, and my birthday was great too! I got so many nice gifts from everyone, and I felt reallly special :). Best part of the day was relaxing by the pool. At night we went to Maynards on Lake Minnetonka, and then we went downtown. It was so nice to have all my friends there, I love them unconditionally and I don't know where I would be without them...
SO where does this leave me?
I feel like I am in a great place. Although I am busy, I am still having a ton of fun with my life right now. There are so many possibilities for the future, and I love that. It's nice to feel content, and not question everything. I look back to being 21 and I see myself in a better place now, sadly much more mature. Now I have great and special people in my life...I feel so much stronger than I used to be. This year was difficult, and now I feel like being 22 is going to change a lot believe it or not. There are big changes going on in my life, and I'm ok with it because I have a great support system ;) I'm learning that change and commitment shouldn't be feared, and so far it's made a great impact on my life.
Some things you just have to let in.
But other things......"Let it be"(Beatles)
